Thats a tricky situation Johanna. In all honesty tree growth is only something Ive thought about in the past few years or so. It seems obvious but there are so many things to think about when designing solar that it takes a long time for a designer to be across it all. I do think there will be legal precedent for building height increases as time goes on, but I havnt seen a test case yet. As for tree growth our process is to model around the current situation and advise that changes may happen. We guarantee the modelling for 5 years but beyond that the outcome is on the owner.
